Hi all,

I am also having grief renewing my DASK insurance because the address system has changed. I emailed them a copy of the dask certificate with my post code on it and they replied;

"We’re sorry. We can not find the system address. Your address has been changed by the state. You need to know your  new address and address code(UAVT code)Fethiye municipality. The dask system has changed across the entire in Turkey. Without this information we can not process."

Does anyone know what the UAVT code is all about and how do you find out what yours is? I have a villa in the middle of a complex surrounded by four roads. Some of the villas on the perimeter have a number but not ours.

Finansbank renewed our DASK and building insurance with somebody they knew, rather than their usual company (because of the kimlik number issue). In the process they encountered the change of address problem and sorted it with the Belidiye directly. So it should be easily resolvable!!

My management company have contacted The Beldiye and they do not know the exact address. But having looked online the comany have located the Sokak (street) number, the gate number that is nearest to our villa and the number 2 because our villa is the second one in the complex from the road. Someone else on the site has just emailed to say that their insurance company only needed the Sokak number.
