What are fish fingers made from?
« on: June 03, 2013, 17:12:34 PM »
"Almost a third of UK primary pupils think cheese is made from plants and a quarter think fish fingers come from chicken or pigs ".

Might it be considered extreme if I suggested that the parents of these children should be taken out into the street and shot through the head? Or might it be considered a just and appropriate response?

I will load the gun, Colwyn!! An extremely sad indictment of the youngsters of today. It absolutely chills me to the marrow that these kids will one day soon be running this once great nation of ours !  :o

This is what happens when parents are either too tired or lazy to cook a meal from scratch. Unfortunately, hardly any kids are given the opportunity to learn how to cook or even how to shop. Have you ever been in the supermarket and seen some of the junk food in trolleys of parents? it makes me shudder.

And after they've been shot through the head, nail their bodies to the Benefits Office and burn all their clothes.

Me, an extremist, nah!  ;)

Mrs B works in what is classed as an 'inner city' school. Some of the stories she comes home with about fruit and veg that kids have never heard of I find hard to believe how sheltered some of these kids are. Some could not name common things like broccoli, Cauliflower or pineapple. These kids are 8-9 years old.
