tax number?

I use intasure for insurance but the dask is covered separately. I've carried that tax card in my Turkish wallet for the last 9 years and never had to use it!

Any idea where I can locate my tax number,lost the card but have my Tapu and bank account details as well as DASK will it be on any of them ?

Your bank will be able to tell you your tax number. That's who I always used to ask when I'd lost/forgotten mine

So should we pass these details (our tax numbers) onto Intasure, as requested?  Has anyone else replied to them yet?  I'm not sure what to do - not even sure i have my tax number as it may be in our apartment, which means they'll have to wait till August!   

Like you Keith, we never had Dask on our property for the first four years or so, as we were told that the builder held it for the entire complex until the last apartment was sold (which was last year).  Not sure this is true, but no one bothered to ask if we had taken out Dask insurance, despite always having our insurance with Intasure.  We decided we needed to take out the Dask after the earthquake last year!  I am wondering if this request for our tax numbers has anything to do with the fact that we didn't have Dask until a year ago.

I have passes on my tax number and no it isn't because you didn't have it I have always had DASK and still got the email

We have DASK and insurance with Intrasure and were asked for our tax numbers. When we queried this we were told that the insurance company now has to pay a % of our premium in tax to the Turkish government. I will ask my friend exactly what % it was as I cannot recall what she said but it was a considerable amount of money.

Intasure have emailed asking for my tax number! Finally a reason for it'
