I often think that in the distant future a huge bubble of glass could be put up anywhere in G.B. and a resort put under it, with a constant hot temperature. Then people could go on holiday without travelling abroad.  Why travel abroad when you go to a place that encourages you never to leave it, if you could get the same thing in the U.K.

Technically it is Fethiye, just as Wetherby is Leeds and is about the same distance apart.

The local council of Ciftlik is no more and we now come under the Fethiye banner.

I hope nobody gets the boat to Fethiye Ilsland though ;-)

My friends went to Olu Deniz All inclusive last year and really liked the town of Fethiye, hence they booked the new Sensatori, thinking it actually was being built in Fethiye itself, rater than the Fethiye area.  Not looking forward to their reaction when they realise how far out they'll actually be. Ooops!

Yes - that's exactly where it is. We saw the cranes in June.

I have heard that Hanel are building it?

It's owned by Barut Hotels. Not sure who is building it.

I used to walk this beach 3 or 4 times a week. In the winter I was often the only person on the beach. The peace and tranquility was wonderful. Looks like I left at the right time.
As far as Fethiye being on the island , a few years ago friends of mine stayed at the Majesty Club Tuana
in Yaniklar. They looked it up on Google Maps but were misled  because , at that time the Telmessos estate had the label of Majesty Club Tuana on it. Fortunately, I was able to put them straight.

Gives you some idea where it is in relationship to Koca. It's just the other side of the nearest hill.
