Aktif Bank
« on: January 17, 2015, 09:55:31 AM »
Attendances at top football league games in Turkey have suffered because of a boycott by fans of the Passolig ticketing system operated by Aktif Bank.

When Aktif Bank won the tender to run Passolig as a monoply in 2012, it's parent company, Calik Holdings, was run by Berat Albayrak, RTE's son-in-law.

Crowds at Fenerbahce have dropped fron an average of 42,000 in 2012-13 to around 15,000 this season.

The full article appears on page 43 of The Times of Saturday 17th Jan 2015 but I can't supply a link to it at the moment.
