Glass shop recommendations please
« on: June 09, 2016, 14:07:15 PM »
Can someone tell me where is best place to go to buy a new glass top for our balcony table and a rough price to expect to pay i think ( not measured it yet) its about 90 cm...i have arrived to find the glass top on our table shattered does anyone know if the sun can cause this to happen, it was covered over with a sheet...i have my own theory as to how it happened but be interestec to know if anyone  has ever experienced this due to the sun/ heat...
Thanks as always for any advice...

Have you tried the second hand shops on the end of the one way road, just before it gets to the Tuesday Market junction.??

   Worth a try. !!     ;)

If you go on the Gunlukbasi Road from Calis, keep to the right just before the Police Statiion (the Pollice station is on the opposite side) there is a small lane with a Turkcell shop on one side and a Bakery on the other. Just turn down this lane on the right, the glass shop is next to a Barbers.  We were they today as there is a key cutting shop next to the Glass Shop.

Either that or head towards the saniye (the industrial area opposite the otogar) Loads of little workshops in there & I'm sure I've seen a few selling glass
