UKIP: The People's Party
« on: January 04, 2017, 15:23:29 PM »
I've just emailed all the West Country MEPs to pledge to oppose the ratification of CETA - that's TTIP's supposed "Little Brother" but looks like TTIP by the backdoor. The ratification would enable a massive transfer of power from governments to corporations - as if they didn't have enough power over states and people already. One of my local UKIP MEPs is a chap called William Dartmouth; or to give him his full name William, Earl of Dartmouth: one of UKIP's representatives of "real people, ordinary people, decent people". I expect to get the same reply as I did last time I wrote to the Earl of Dartmouth who (allegedly) represents me - that is, none whatsover. I guess he's like those other UKIP MEPs who are happy to take the MEP salary as long as they don't have to actually turn up and do anything or even to reply, or in any way to respond, to their constituents. Thanks, Earl!
