Yesterday our friend returned from a short shopping trip to find 3 young girls had gained access to her apartment the youngest being around 11 years old keeping lookout whilst the other 2 went through personal belongings.
Without going into details apparently the steel front doors most of us will have are relatively easy to open so advise always use Deadlock option when leaving home or indeed overnight.

Hi Cally, Thanks for the heads up. Always deadlock the front door, even when you are at the pool. Takes seconds!

Unless deadlocked, a plastic card will open your steel door. Also lock internal doors if you can.
