Well after the earthquake...........................

We are currently watching trees swirling side to side - everything removed by all owners from around the pool - it is unearthly hot and we can feel it coming.............

Batten down the hatches everyone.........................

Twister in Calis - and we were wondering how rumours such as the tsunami one got started........

For heavens sake it was a short lived gust of wind.

Sorry to hear that about the damage - but 40 minutes to me is a short gust and that were no twister, our stuff was all stowed earlier as the forecast was for a high wind - which you often get after the sun goes down after a particularly hot day.

You must be in a different place to the rest of us Jim cos second only to last weeks earthquake that was the scariest thing ive experienced!
we live along the main road just before you turn down to get to sunset beach club and the new hotel theyre building, etc. so quite a way back from the sea really but my God, the wind was so strong and so hot! it was burning, 37 degrees according to my thermometer outside, i wouldnt be suprised if it has caused a few fires?
ive got sturdy wooden chairs and a table on my balcony and they blew over  :-\ and the lightening was impressive too.
the windows in my house are broken now because the wind forced them open and broke the latches. so now they don't close, greaaat lol. my poor rabbit was on the balcony and was waiting by the door for us to let her in suprised she didnt blow away haha.

im convinced whoever said the world is ending in 2012 is right haha, starting in fethiye  ;) im joking of course, but seriously, weird things happening!
