Title: Best for a pint with the lads
Post by: Steve A on September 01, 2014, 22:52:43 PM
I know it's a family place and we all love trying the different restaurants having laid back meals and nights out.Like a lot of you blokes Iam sure you are surrounded by women e.g. In June there was me,my wife,my female neighbour, her daughter and her friend, this time there will be me,my wife and my mother.Sometimes I like paint without them with some male company so I often pop info town,on my own,in search of some kindred spirits.Where do you think are the best places for a bloke to go for a pint without getting stuck with EPKHeads ?

For a blokey (EPK free) pint experience I'd probably choose the Dawn Beach.

Yep

I quite like Josephs, he's a good fella and there's generally a pleasant crowd in there - it just gets a bit loud as the night goes on. That may be what most people want, but I want it to be quiet enough to talk and hear and be heard  :)

Yeah me to I have been going into Joseph's for years now he's a true gent. The Dawn Beach Bar I find very friendly and relaxed, the Meri although now modernised gets full of those whiners who tell you how bad the place is and what big shots they wre in the UK,YEAH!

definitely Dawn Beach, always a good crowd in there including many regular holiday makers, also it's a big place and you can move around if you draw a whiner but to date I've never found one.  :D

Cafe Pazaar for me, I always like a game of pool with a few Turkish friends who frequent the place.   :)
