Hi all

My dad is coming to Calis next week and wondered if there was any good seafood restaurants in Calis?

I have told him to go to the fish market in Feythie.

Thanks

Lauren

Oykanyus is excellent, not a big menu but ask for special of the day, we ended up with a massive grouper for 4 people, with all the trimmings approx 100tl.

I think it is the one in front of the Area & Bahar hotel.   We went there when it first opened and whilst the fish was very good, the meal was ruined by heated up chips which were not good. Friends of ours also commented the same.  The owner seems very pleasant, perhaps we will give it another try in June and hope the chips are as freshly cooked as the fish.

If you want to give you Dad a real treat go to Kizilada Island.  He can pick his own lobster from the tank.

You cant go wrong with the fishmarket. Mercan Retaurant there I think is the best. I eat at the fishmarket at least once a week. Or Kefal restaurant near to Boyz bar Kismet down near the cultural centre in Fethiye

The Oykanus is next to the Area Hotel - it is run by a lovely man called Mahmood. If you want something in particular he will be more than happy to order it in for you if you ask the day before.

He also offers chicken and vegetarian dishes if any of your group are not keen on fish.
