We ate there on Tuesday night. Was delicious as always, although a tad expensive.

Patak and Primark ..... Same owner.
No relevance but might come in handy at a quiz.

You can't beat a good Primark curry ;D

4 of us have been tonight, & whilst it was one of the better curries we've had in the area, it wasn't a patch on the one I had in Yorkshire last weekend, maybe we just expecting too much. The veg samosa was very good, but the portion of onion bhaji I would best describe as minimalist. The 2 x jalfrezi mains were reasonable, the veg curry with the biriyani was about 50% tinned(?) peas & the chicken korma was at best OK

For pappas, 2 x starters, a main & drink each, the bill was 173tl, so pricewise on a par with what I paid back in the UK.

It may well have been busy on opening night, but just the 4 of us eating tonight, though someone dropped by for a game of pool with one of the staff part way through our meal & the clattering of the balls was annoying to say the least.

Overall, we may well return, but won't be beating a path to their door

Well we took the girls out as a treat for good school reports and I can tell you that for four of us, including drinks (2 each) at a remarkably good buffet Indian restaurant (CBF member endorsements are available  ;) ) - we paid less than 173TL for four of us compared with that total for just the two of you.

And we got jelly beans with the bill  ;)

Sixty quid for a night out for two in Calis sounds outrageous to me, maybe I'm just out of touch..?

I usually avoid opening nights of any establishment. The food/service is generally well below par...
