The Ada Restaurant Sovalye Island

We went out last week as it was our Wedding Anniversary.   We were  picked up by boat and had a lovely journey over.   The table we had looked right out to the islands and the view was stunning.  The food was fabulous and they had made us a cake that was piped at the top with our details and had candles and sparklers on it.   We got to take it home in a doggie bag (no charge for the cake)
We were there on Monday and the only people in the restaurant.  The staff treated us so well and we totally enjoyed ourselves.  Although it was really special to be the only customers who were spoilt rotten by the staff and perhaps Monday is a quiet night, I would hope others will try it, if we don't use it we will loose it.
We have Turkish friends who go out every Sunday for breakfast and chill out all day there on the beach.

I did not take my ipad, but Phil got some on his camera and I am waiting for him to download them onto his computer...I will keep nagging at him as I want to have copies myself.

Sounds lovely Jacqui, how did you book it.  We had our wedding anniversary whilst out there, May 14th, and we both forgot it!!!

Phil rang and booked (although you can book online) he mentioned it was our anniversary and they asked which one and what kind of cake would I like, Phil said a fruit cake.(no jokes please) However, he did not give it anymore thought.   We were amazed as the cake was so lovely baked by the chef.  It was iced and was a fairy light cream sponge crammed with pieces of fruit. It just melted in your mouth.
Cenk, I know you and Olga will love it there.   Personally, we cannot wait to go back.

One word of warning, take a scarf as it could be windy going over.   Book for daylight and be there for sunset, it's lovely. Last image is the uninterrupted view from our table, that was beautifully decorated.

Looks lovely.  Must remember to book.  I think it will be out 33rd aniversary next year, maybe not, our daughter was born in Feb 1983, and we were married the May previous so perhaps not.  Over to you Mr. Sadler!!!!
