Our next open buffet Curry Night will be Tuesday October 2nd. Menu to be decided in due course but the usual variety of main meals, starters, homemade naan breads and chutneys. Price still 16tl eat as much as you can!
Thank you everyone for such a great turn out yesterday despite the heat. :)

Really sorry to hear you had tried to contact me. I read my emails every day without fail and so also tried to email myself via the forum but haven't received it yet! :( not sure what the problem is. All my normal mail is getting through. In the mean time perhaps you can mail me direct at kaptanotel@ttmail.com . Will try to sort ASAP.

Carol, emails via the forum don't appear in your inbox. You need to look at the "my messages" tab at the top of the forum, if it shows a number there, you click on the tab.

It has been mentioned before but you need to OPT IN to receive your messages by email. It is in the notifications setting of your profile (link to your profile is in the blue bar at the top of this page)

Just letting you all know that I have recieved your mails now via the forum, and have now hopefully replied to them all too. It was merely me being a totally twit and not realizing that they didn't come to me direct as with the old forum, but I had to click on the 'messages' at the top. :-[

Forgot to ask carol, what time does it all start ?

We aim to get the bain marie all up and running by 7pm so any time around then. The onion bhajis and poppadoms are made fresh once the guests start arriving. Will post the menu once I've got it all together.

Its for keeping food hot, electric or with hot water underneath it. Like a big hostess trolley thingy

We went last night, place was packed and we can see why. The food was lovely, plenty of choices and loads of it.
Thanks Carol, how you manage to feed all of those people at the same time is beyond me but you do it admirably.

Thanks Carol for another great Curry Nite and all the hard work that goes into it. I not only enjoy the delicious food but also seeing so many friends there all at once. It's a nice atmosphere where we can all catch up and relax with a good drink and a get together. I'm looking forward to November (I'b better get my name down) :)

We had our first curry night at Bostans while staying in Calis, and must say the food was fabulous....
my only critisism is that it all seemed a little rushed...as normally when having an Indian most people would have the starters then the main, but it seemed as though everyone was taking it all at once, hence eating so much so quickly, i do think maybe just the starters out for a while would be a good idea, then the mains to follow..
but saying that would we go again, YES the food was very good.
