Easy answer is when you go in any bar ask for a large EFFS simples you only get what you ask for. I have been in the Merabah many times as a holidaymaker and never every been riped off in fact the oposite.

We fully agree with squiffy, and others in endorsing the merhaba bar ,in fact we also have friends who come out several times a year and always make a be line for merhaba bar..

It always surprises me that people bring back topics from months earlier to disagree with someone's negative review. I don't think the establishment concerned would appreciate it (be it supportive of them or not) - all it does is return talk of rip offs there into full view for a second time.
