Anyone know if the Shanghai Blues in Calis is open this time of year, and if so, is it worth a visit?

Yes, it is open all year.  Have only had takeaway from the Calis one but very good.

we have had both take away and a meal in the restaurant and loved it, hope it will be as good this year

Well, we went tonight and we were not disappointed.  It was pricey but we were treating friends and it was a special occasion so we weren't penny-pinching.  We will definitely go again.
