The Silverstone village pub expects to sell some 4000 pints over the GP weekend. There were four people in there tonight, as it's quiz night, this will go up to thirty; so the GP is a life line. Cheers 8)

I drink at the silverstone pub which is currently well lit up, although only on the odd night preffer the Oak in town, and my son goes to silverstone infants school. great pub and great school, although the beer is pricy and the car park to small. The track also will host Bike GP and I think world superbikes. also offers off road 4x4 courses etc. Great news for all the little companies that supply motorsport.

It is expected that the redevelopment plans should be announced soon; no, I am not privy. I did see the plans some 8 years back, they were very good, so I am hoping for even better this time. 8)
