Paralympics
« on: September 07, 2016, 10:37:31 AM »

Well tonight sees the start of the 2016 Paralympics. I really hope it's a successful and well attended event for all taking part.

And i'm disgusted that a lot of the funding for these games was taken from them and given to last months main event.

Good luck to everyone involved, you are all heroes.

What a fantastic event, the determination, effort, emotions, competitive spirit, and above all sportsmanship

shown by all taking part was humbling. This little island of ours finished second behind China and won a

total of  147 medals, including 64 Gold. Our team of heroes showed that we really are  "GREAT BRITAIN"    :)

And the Brazilians, both officials and public, did the event proud.
