Actor Bill Maynard has died aged 89 after a fall.

     I remember watching him and Charlie Drake on our first black & white TV doing slapstick. I think they were called

     Mick & Montmorency.? A lovely guy and a fine comedian and actor.   RIP.

Brilliant actor - from Selwyn Froggit to Greengrass, he made them all look like that was him, like he wasn't acting at all.

I enjoyed his performances in everything he did.  :)
