Can anyone tell me if this still has to be done annually,and if so, do you have to got to the M.O.T testing station now ?

yes emmissions every year...can be done at renault,citroen,or at the test center

For our car, a Grande Punto, our emmissions test just has to be done every two years, to tie in with our MOT.  The garage organised our emissions test, not sure where they took it but the cost was around 28TL.

Maybe it depends on the type of car.  I would think if you need to MOT it every year, it would need emmissions tested every year as well.

denise,our car is mot every  two years,but got stopped by traffic police and he said emmissions every year

The cost of the test is around 34Tl, diesel cars cost a few lira more than petrol; it takes about 5 minutes. 8)

Older cars only need M.O.T.every 2 years . ;)

That's weird Terrie, because ours was literally just done and the garage never said it had to be done every year.  Would it be because you have a 4x4 I wonder? x

Thanks for the info. We also have a 4x4 and MOT every two years . We'll take it tomorrow anyway .Better to be sure !

My 11 year old car's MOT every 2 years but cos it's now old emissions test is every year.
