Title: Tailor in Calis by the Guitar bar

I took a top and a skirt to be copied and made to this Tailor along with the material I purchased in Fethiye. I waited 5 days and went to pick up the items-  Both Items were a disaster - unwearable, the top was a mess the neckline was high on one side and low on the other, the skirt was even worse and would only have fitted a child!! she was charging me 40 Lira for making the items I refused to accept them,she said she would go to Fethiye and replace my material and I could go somewhere else! The material she gave me back was nothing like what I had given to her originally it was cheaper ...what a rip off ...beware folks!

Sorry to hear that Jeannie, but in contrast, I got a piece of work done in May by her, and had no complaint with it at all. I supose consistency would be good, but seems (pardon the pun) not the case.

Which Tailor was it ?? there are 2 there, one each side of the Guitar bar as you look up from the main street to the duck pond,,
we took 2 pairs trousers to be undone at the rear to make the waist bigger same day service total cost 10 lira, a excellent  perfect fit.

we used the one on the left

It was the first one on the left as you walk towards the Guitar Bar.

I also used them last year for a new zip and popper for my fav shorts, it was an oldish man that I dealt with and it was either 5 or 10 lira I was really pleased with the work. did not realise there are two tailors there tho so will have to pay attention if I go there again for anything   :)

In the guitar bar, there is a duck pond in the middle and very nice too.

went to the Guitar Bar yesterday during the day for a cold drink and the owner came out with special pellets for the ducks so that we could feed them.There were two ducklings there too.When they were in the water the adult ducks tried to peck them and the owners wife(?) chased them off and protected the youngsters.Such a difference to the ducks in Paspateur.Spent a lovely hour there.
