Title: AES Club Hotel, Ovacik
Post by: julesbob0303 on June 05, 2013, 23:00:12 PM
We have never stayed at an all inclusive hotel before as we prefer the freedom of eating in different places without feeling that you need to rush back as you have already paid for food!

However, on our recent visit to Calis, we decided to spend the last couple of nights of our holiday at the AES Club Hotel in Ovacik, as the reviews were excellent (it has 4.5 stars on trip advisor) and the cost?  £21 a night each!!!!  The rooms were clean, modern, air conditioned, free safe (large enough to hold everything, including handbag and ghd's!), hair dryer, slippers, toiletries, clean towels every day etc etc etc.  Our room overlooked the pool area, which was very large, had loads of sunbeds, and beach towels were also provided.  There was a sauna, steam room and turkish bath (all included in the price), but best of all was the restaurant.  The food was amazing with the largest choice I have ever seen in a restaurant, and all of an excellent quality.  (The dessert section was enormous and included some brilliant cakes for the kids - crocodile shaped!)  There was even midnight soup and bread!  The included drinks were the usual - local spirits, raki, beers, cocktails, wine etc served until midnight.  If you wanted to continue drinking after this, Hisaronu is within a 15 minute walk away from the hotel!  The entertainment was first class - absolutely no complaints about anything at this hotel.   :)

For the price you could not go wrong, though the prices go up rapidly for the summer season.  We will definitely go back later in the year - it was a lovely end to our holiday.
