Title: finans interest rate ?

i have a time deposit account that pays interest monthly ( 32 days ) and having logged on to check the account have noticed the annual rate is only 5% , does this seem right as im sure it was about 9% last time i looked . thanks

It all depends how much you have in there.
Rates have dropped, but that seems very low. I would phone or email Gulsah and ask what's going on. I find it's best to pop in or email just before interest day and make sure she knows to get as much interest as possible.

We got 9% last week on just a monthly account

Ask them to put it in a daily account, seems better at the moment,

Sometimes  if it's early morning the rate hasn't been set for the day and they just put 5%

You sure?  Daily interest deposit accounts only getting 5.15% at best.  Time deposit accounts (32-45 days) getting 9.1% minimum, maybe a couple of points more if you negotiate.

ive just checked again and its still saying 5% , has anyone got an e-mail address for Gulsah or someone who i can make an appointment to see in September , someone who speaks English and which branch would they be at , as i usually use the one near the big migros . thanks

I have been in the bank,2 weeks ago and transfered to a daily account,and they gave me 10 per cent.

no reply as yet to my e-mail . what is the procedure for seeing someone at finans in the center of Fethiye ? do i go in and get a ticket or can i just walk in and go straight upstairs and ask someone ? as it always seems busy when ive been in , although it was a few years ago . thanks

Don't collect a ticket, go up to the second floor and there are three English speaking personal bankers who will help you.

Yes and closes for an hour from 12.30 then a right old bun fight getting back in at 1.30!
Gulsah isn't great at replying, send again daily.
