Title: A belated hello!

Hi to all on the Calis Beach Forum. For my sins, I have been a "lurker" for far too long and my conscience has finally got the better of me, so I am posting this to formally introduce myself. After a couple of years of benefiting from the fountain of knowledge on the forum, I hope to be able to give something back and even to be of assistance to fellow forum users.

I have just started my 3rd year living in Turkey and like most people, it has been a rocky ride but an experience I will never forget.  I live in the mountains, about 4 miles from Uzumlu and still loving it.

Don't think it will be one of those electric jobs up there - but a very warm welcome !

Hi Kkob no, I haven't got one one at the moment but as you can probably guess, I have had several models in the past.  You never know, I still might get another one in the future!

Mrs KKOB had a CBR 600 but couldn't bring it out to Turkey. She was heartbroken. But in the long-run it was probably a life-saver. She'd have killed herself on the roads around there.

 Quacker= Kwaka = Kawasaki. Very quick green machines ! I was making a point about the steep terrain - keep up !  ;D
