You're getting about Jacqui! Lovely photos - never been there - may well try it.
-
Think it's a crime no one else there.
-
It was reserved for Royalty. ;)

Aw . . We are staying there again for a few days Jacqui, I wish we'd known you were there last night, we must have just missed you, we went down to dinner at about 7.45pm. There was a party going on too. It is a fabulous place! My starter of beef carpaccio was delicious, M had Parma ham with melon.

Did not know that Lottie, we left at about 7.40 pm.
We went early, as we were coming back over from the Letoonia side and decided it was such a nice evening we would call into the Classic for an early dinner. We usually don't eat that early.
There was just us and a party of Germans from one of the Yachts eating at that time, but it was really nice. I loved the ice cream cocktail I had.
We saw the staff setting. up for the party too. So sorry we missed you and Malcolm.
We must get together next time we are over. :) :-*
Give it a try Lynne, you will not be disappointed. ;)

Looks lovely, what are the costs like compared to other restaurants? Looks like a nice place for a special meal. We are over in August,
a group of nine ,could be a good place for that special meal.
-
From memory I think our bill normally comes to about £50-£60 for two inc drink ,starter and main. :)

Hi tony1960, I have the menu here so you can see for yourself. There is always a wonderful ambience in fabulous surroundings. Def worth a try IMHO. A bottle of Angora is 60tl.

We love it here, last year we booked a room so we were able to use the facilities on the first and second day. :)
-
What facilities has the hotel ?
-
Waterfront location with sun loungers overlooking the bay. Two pools, one larger with a swim up bar, other designated the silent, adult pool. Children's pool and a separate jacuzzi pool. Pool towels are provided. Sunbathing terraces around the pools. A man made beach with sun loungers.Very good restaurant with tables overlooking the sea, another bar, a good spa with Turkish bath, sauna and massage, all payable. If you book a 'villa', you will have use of a pool just for the 5 villas. The villas are in separate buildings, all large rooms, some have jacuzzi in the room, some have small Turkish Baths.

What facilities has the hotel ?
Once again, just a look into Google will give you the website where you can look at images and find all the facilities. http://www.yachtclassichotel.com/index-eng.aspx

We went twice in the last two weeks and its really good .
-
There doesn't appear to be many Turkish dishes on the menu?
-
No the menu isn't Turkish, though they do various guvec and there is a meze starter. If you stay, the huge breakfast buffet selection can be as Turkish or as European as you like. However it still seems to please the Turks too because lots of them eat there. :D
-
Thanks for the info all.
Probably won't go for a meal now we like the Turkish food, maybe go for a drink instead
-
I would make the sacrifice of your full Turkish meal an go to eat. It is a lovely experience to sit at the restaurant and look across the marina to the mountains whilst you eat. If your table is next to the water you can feed the fish with some of your bread.
If you did go for just a drink you would not be seated in the restaurant area.
-
But the 2 round bars are lovely to sit and have a drink. There are sets of copy sofas and chairs dotted about near the bars too.

Agreed, the bars are really nice, but if Fieldfare is travelling from Calis and does not have a car, it is a long way to go by public transport just for a drink, might as well make a night of it and have a meal.
