Title: New Steak Restaurant.

Just read a review from a friend of mine who lives in Fethiye.  It is for a new Steak Restaurant on the Kordon opposite the Blueberry Restaurant.   It is called Çarıklı.    My friend said the steaks were really good and the best meat she has eaten in the area for 10 years.
So, all you Steak lovers, you may want to give it a try.  ;D

Haven't tried it yet, but since it's owned by the people who have the butchers shop, within the fish market, it ought to be good

The burgers are very good too, but want to try their Kokorec Pizza on my next visit.

We ate there last week excellent  steaks and reasonable prices.
NB  if you are vegetarian you won't like it.... :)

Can somebody please be kind enough to tell me how to get here  from the water taxi in Fethiye please ?

It's on the Kordon, roughly where the turn off to the Esnaf is, so quite a hike from the water taxis.

We've been a few times, absolutely love it. The food was fabulous and yes, the best steak I've possibly had ever.

The only criticism on our first visit - a couple of days after it opened - was that there was too much paraphernalia on the tables. It looked great but there just wasn't enough room for the dishes and one waiter spilled raki down one of our group trying to squeeze the bottle on.
Doesn't seem to be an issue now though.

I sometimes buy fresh meat from their butcher's shop on the rare occasions I leave the willage to go into Fethiye; the prices are reasonable and the quality vastly superior to any of the supermarkets or other butchers I've tried.

Four of us went on Monday and we all had steaks with various sauces and cooking from rare to medium. All four were excellent and  most are priced around 53tl.  ;D
