I was hoping that it was not true but I don't think you hear rumours over there. Was there any hint of it before?

It's been talked about for a while. The LoL article is more believable than some of the rumours that have been going about though.

I would imagine the ex pats are quite happy to have a better choice of shops. I just hope the small trader who has time to speak and pass time with you does not disappear. It would be such a loss.

The Turks with a sense of humour should have fun mnaming their shops though

Hmmmmm, just taken a look at the line drawing of the 'precinct'. I love the clean design lines, almost like a line of villas!
