Well, I was a little bit afraid you wouldn't like a German to join your board. But I see these sorrows were unnecessary. Great!

What I'd love to know is: What do you think about German tourists, I mean the prejudices? Do you know what Germans say about British tourists? (If not, do you want to know or will you beat me up then virtually?)

Silvi, i know that Germans don't like the English, my friend whos mother is German and myself stayed at his grans , where we had a great time, we went up to Denmark and stopped off at Flensberg, a German girl walked towards us, crossed the road, then crossed back after she passed us, and there is a German lady in Calis that said she hates Germans, even I couldn't say that. Uuuh, don't get me wrong! *eek*
I like the English, I like the Dutchmen ... I really don't care about nationality.
It's just about prejudices, don't take it seriously, I think it can be very funny if it's not exaggerated.

I know there are some Germans who are really terrible, but as I read in my German board they have most problems with Russians and Poles.
I don't like discussions about which hotels are booked by which nationality ... While reading that I asked myself what people from other countries think about Germans - that's all.

They didn't bomb ours, i think it was the IRA, no, being serious i have no prejudices with anyone, when i was a kid my best mate was as black as the ace of spades, so all my life i've grown up with them, my only gripe is how anyone can afford to live in the UK now. Alan, Long live friendships
