There is a tree in the garden of one of the markets opposite the Morning Star in Ovacik and it is half lemon and half orange on the same tree.

The tree is covered in fruit and the owner even invited me into the garden and gave me some of the oranges.

Many fruit trees are grown on stock roots and it's relatively easy to graft an orange branch and a lemon branch onto one stock root.

I planted a sweet lemon last year, I hope that it has survived the winter and the gardeners

We have in our garden a lemon/grapefruit tree which we did ourselves as an experiment as we already have the lemon/orange (not seperate lemons and oranges) they look like an overgrown lemon with a grapefruit skin and taste somewhere in between, I took one to the last car boot sale after making marmalade with some, they all sold out immediately, will make more for the next one, the taste is quite different.
