These are some of the rules for driving in turkey,if you have any more to add please feel free

You must overtake any vehicle whist approching a roundabout
use your horn at all times
No use of indicators
Stop in the middle of the road for a chat
double park wherever possible
When being overtaken take offence and drive even faster
Use your horn 1 millisecond after the lights turn green
Dont stop at lights

Sorry Welshbrickie, you are wrong on one point.  They begin hooting 3 seconds before the lights change to green.  In anticipation of you not pulling away fast enough.  :D

The only valid reason to scrap a vehicle in Turkey is if the horn doesn't work.  ;)

When double parking on the back road in Fethiye, ensure the car you block in entirely belongs to Scunner.

Couple more rules.
When you park or even double park make sure the driver or the passenger (whoever is sitting on the outside) swings open the door without looking.
Make sure when you park in the one way street in Fethiye you get so close to the car next to you that the driver of said car has to get in through their passenger side.
When turning out of a side road remember not to stop just swing right out no matter what traffic is coming. ;)

Mobile phone must be pressed to ear at all times.
Get in the right-hand lane to turn left at any junction.

When you have your mobile in your left hand and you are changing gear with your right hand, remember to steer with your knees. On no account decrease speed.

Always ensure you have at least 10 passengers.
Always have your stereo blasting at maximum volume.
Always ensure the kids are sitting on mums knee in the front of the car, with no seat belt on.
Make sure only one headlight works, and always have your fog lights on.

Even when the lights have turned red you still have 5 or 10 seconds to drive through.
