The eating type that is.  I grow my own in the UK - in Cumbria so a Greenhouse is really necessary, unimpressive plant but given time you get to eat the root/tuber.  So anyone ever tried it in Calis area, my bit of garden is in Koca Calis at sea level, near as damn it, and protected from the worst of the wind/weather.  Ginger is not frost tolerant at all and wondered if it would over winter, having been left to its own devises?

Anyone ever tired it?

Someone I know grows it in Uzumlu.  She has it in a pot and brings it inside during Winter
