Can anyone recommend a good snake poison that doesn't kill other 'good' bugs etc in the garden.  Don't really fancy putting anything on the garden but after seeing one of those horrendous black and grey things a couple of seasons ago I think it may be a good idea!

If there is such stuff where could I get it from?

There isn't anything that you can put down specifically for snakes. Learn to live with them.

Up at Telmessos they used to run a line of some viscous liquid on the top of the perimeter walls and said snakes would not cross it. That nugget of information said, I have no idea what it was :D

So, if you've already got them on your property, they won't leave.:D

our turkish friends have a powder that they put around the property which they say snakes won't cross.  But I don't know what this is and I'm sure if it harms snakes it must harm other lovelies such as lizards, frogs and the like......we have seen snakes in our garden, but treat them with respect.  Not my favourite things, but i would never do them any harm.
