Lawn Feed and Weed
« on: June 22, 2011, 14:23:09 PM »
The lawn is in a terrible state, with more weeds than I can shake a stick out (Why I would wish to shake a stick at weeds is beyond me - but perhaps that is another topic?).

Is it safe to pressume that W&F for lawns is available in Turkey, does anyone have any 'brand' names and finally any specific outlets that I can get my lazy backside down to in order to get some please?

I have made a few discrete enquiries, but was told a name, which when translated for me was 'weed killer', understandably a little hesitant to cover the lawn in the stuff in order to find out that I will soon have a scale model of the Gobi desert!  (and yes I know I dont know what the Gobi looks like, but in my minds eye . . . )

Ta in anticipation.

I have recently tried the weed killer and believe me it works. One problem is that if you use a watering can then it has to be put in confinement for 100 years.
