 We found this and although it gives the name and phone number of all the muthars,its doesn't give an address for them  :)

Thanks all, I'm just holding back on applying at the mom as there's a vague possibility I may have to go back to the UK & if that happens I can't be without a passport

Liz they will allow you to have your passport back if you need it to travel.   In the old days everything was sent to Mugla now it's all kept and processed in Fethiye.

We went to get our residency Monday. The gentleman at the passport office could not have been more helpful, he explained it all to me and my wife, which made the process a lot easier.  We would like to thank the people working in the passport office for all their help.

an update - collected our little blue books today

so exciting!

relieved that having posted on here how easy the process was we may have missed something, but all good.

10 working days from giving the forms in, pretty impressive

Pleased everything went so well for you.Just one query when you say bank books does this refer to money held in Turkey or U.k or both?also are existing pensions taken into account?

We got 3 years residency which was 350 tl and the blue book was another 149 tl (150 tl as no change given.) And that is per person.
