Ovacik2, that is something I make quite a bit of, usually when I have more time to chop and add, the one I make with Cous cous or bulgar wheat it the fast simple one, based (roughly) on our Turkish neighbours recipe, I forgot to buy Nar sirke to bring back to the UK, luckily found a supply in Tesco, then they stopped it!!!
Since returning to the UK finding a food items enjoyed in Turkey is very hit and miss, I could not find Bulgar wheat in Tesco for a while, so substituted with Cous Cous, near to the pasta etc... Tesco, 2 years on and finally found Bulgar wheat in Tesco, not where I expected it, in the cake baking section???
BTW, the birds enjoyed the Polenta, I will not be trying that again, definitely over rated.
