Does anybody know what is available in Turkey for killing snails and what it is called[?]  Our garden is full of them.

Many thanks.

There is a shop opposite the post office in Günlükbaşi sells something, cant remember the name but snails are called salyangoz in Turkish, i'm sure if you ask in there they will be able to help you.

For anyone whose garden is full of snails.  Found the blue pellets like we get in UK, they are called Metadex Pellet Mollussisit.

On the dolmus route from Calis to Fethiye, just past Migros, there are various shops displaying hoses, watering cans, spray pumps etc. you will get them there 10 tl

I'd be careful if you have pets in the garden incase the pellets/powders are poisonus.
