ours too :0(     our lovely turkish neighbour sprayed ours when she sprayed the olive grove, and it seems to have done the trick, can't tell you what she used though !   We have bought 'bug gun' in the past from Migros....failing that, encourage the lizards in, they love them !

If you're a smoker collect your dogends in a container of water. Once they've soaked for a couple of days put a couple of drops of washing-up liquid in the water and spray the plants with it. Your greenfly will be gone.

Yes I always use washing up liquid watered down in a spray bottle for insects.

Does anyone else get white spots on their Meilissa plants, the above doesnt work on this, it is spreading to my ivy nerby too.

The thing about using Fairy is that not only does it get rid of the critters but also your plants will come up nice and shiny and you don't need to wear gloves as your hands will feel softer ;-)
