I just saw this is it good news or bad news as I thought the boat yard coming here might stop the flooding, so why have all the roads been widened also then.

Not sure Cheryl. Some thought it might help and others didn't.

The roads have been widened in places in anticipation I guess. Nothing's ever straight forward in Turkey!

What we really need is some drains and clear canals.

Or could it be that the mayor and his mates bought up large chunks of land for development near new runway/ road. Just a thought or could be a coincidence ?

I understood that it was the new marina that was going ahead at yaniklar and that the boat yard  was still being considered in cicek but was on hold.

And your evidence to support this?

You don't need evidence in Turkey Rimms ;-)

I've heard that rumour though.  :)
