No, they do not allow people with a title to do that.   :)
I see Roman's Yacht is now anchored off Calis.   He asked as us for drinks tonight, but we are too tired.  :)

I see USB is tell us the Lira is 4.60 to the £1.00 today.  A nice little earner for T.C.
I would advise anyone to get a Halifax Clarity Card and draw your money that way, don't give it to T.C. to diddle you.

Aggghhhhhhhh Jacqui - how can they be diddling or ripping off anyone.

They publish their rate and you buy or you don't. End of. :(

Yes, but many people get the offer of changing money and do not shop around, they just assume they will get a good rate.  As you see Liz thinks 4.21 is good when she could go to Debenhams and get 4.36 or wait until she is in Turkey and get around 4.60.
A lot of people are not as savvy as we are about getting their travel money and trust companies like T.C.

Funny, there seem to be a large number of people in government with titles. Most of them ending in "er".  ;)

Jacqui, I did not say I thought it was good in relation to exchanging money in Fethiye, but it was a lot better than the 3.99 quoted by Wordbid who started the post.  We have had a Halifax Clarity card and Nationwide Flex for many years which we use to get the best rate abroad, however if we need to get some to take with us have always found the TC rate on the day we want to change better than most local travel agents. I know Martin Lewis website shows higher rates but for us popping into s local shop suits us better Recently we went to Italy and the best rate for us for euros at the time was M&S using their credit card, so that's what we did, still shopping locally, whilst using Halifax Clarity when there too

Liz, If you want to go local Ramsden's offer  4.32 and so does the Post Office.  So they both beat T.C. locally.  ;)  :)
I think T.C. take enough of our money with letting them have even more. >:(
