A recent article on fb stated that it is now illegal for a 3rd party to do your residency for you.
Not sure how it will be policed.
Its so simple I don't know why anyone parts with good money for help anyway.

We've just done Mr WB's renewal with help from the wonderful Gurkan Gurol, and it doesn't really make any difference.
Whoever helps is not allowed to physically come into the office with you when you go to hand in your application and sign all the forms, but the guys in there know most people have help....and Gurkan simply waited outside so if there was any problem that we couldn't handle with our limited Turkish, we could have just phoned him.

Well my residency application is done and in, Im sooo very glad I decided to use Mustafa and his lovely wife they made it sooo painless and I believe mine would not have been straight forward as something to do with my address on tapu being wrong...this would have been very daunting, very difficult with the language and soooo very bad to have dealt with in the heat...to be taken to all the various offices needed without hopping on and off dolmuses was just great, in my opinion worth every penny, to be honest all in with one year health care policy included in total was probably cheaper or around the same price as the cos of the ludicrous flights from and to Dalaman this year...seriously can not recommend Mustafa's services enough   :)
