Can anyone tell me if i can buy Ramipril plus Amlodipine over the counter to treat blood pressure, also can you get Quinine Sulfate tablets. This getting older is not to be recommended.

I cant be specific about your tablets, but my experience in buying medication in turkey is that they may not have the specific types you use in the UK,  but they may have a Turkish near equivalent which may or may not be suitable for you, if you are coming out from the UK why not just bring enough to last you??? The best place to try is the chemists shops near the Esnaf Hospital in Fethiye but spoken english can be difficult.

Take your repeat prescription to a pharmacy and they will be able to help you. They may not necessarily have exactly what you want but they'll certainly have an equivalent. The Eroglu Pharmacy / Eczanesi opposite the big supermarket, Carrefour?, in the centre of Fethiye is best. The pharmacist speaks excellent English and most expats go to him.

KKOB the one your thinking of is over the road from the main central Migros. the smaller of the two on this road but by far the busiest and as you say has excellent English. Took the business over from his father a long time ago so has loads of experience and will be able to advise Steve accordingly.
