Title: Liverpool v Chelsea
Post by: snowtop on January 20, 2015, 22:01:56 PM
I think this match proved that Chelsea is beatable and that Liverpool are still a force to be aware of.
Chelsea goal was a penalty and Liverpool goal was scored.

Probably one of the best matches we have watched this season.  Liverpool have certainly improved in the last few weeks and are now gelling together as a good team. Looking forward to the return of Sturridge.
Tonight Liverpool were a match for and played better than Chelsea.   YNWA...

Jose Mourinho has spoken again about the big-game atmosphere at Anfield – and urged his Chelsea fans to try to produce just a percentage of it for next week’s League Cup semi decider at Stamford Bridge.

The Chelsea manager, who in 2005, famously said he had “felt the power of Anfield” during the legendary Champions League semi-final second leg, will clash with the Reds yet again next Tuesday with a Capital One League Cup final place at stake.

He's "at it" Jacqui

If the contest was decide on who created the better Big Game atmosphere then Liverpool FC would win.

But it's on the pitch that matters and Mourinho knows full well that his team will beat Liverpool in the second leg no matter what the crowd do.

My second leg prediction (sadly) is 3 (at least) - 0.

Chelsea have been toying with the idea of putting in crowd noise as Stamford Bridge is so quiet.
We will wait until the match next week H.
In the meantime will you send me next weeks winning lottery numbers please?  ;D :P  ;)

Good luck for tonight Jacqui - I still fear that your team will need it.

Jacqui's right about the lack of noise at Stamford Bridge these days.  A sad reflection on, and combination of modern stadia and supporters I'm afraid. Wither the Shed End in it's pomp  ;)
