. My friends moved out here last year and started a small hotel in Ovacik, when they sat at home and work the figures out they were going to be ok living in turkey and running the hotel. However once they packed there bags and moved out here had there first season they were actually worse off and had to dip into there savings as they didnt make enough money. The hotel had customers but they didnt expect the tax man. He charges 22% and 22% again on everything and all because they set up a limited company in there names.
They told me if there hotel was registered with a turk they wouldnt of been taxed as much.
This year unfortunately they wont be running the hotel which is a great shame.
So if anyone is interested in renting it whos either lives out here and back in the UK then email me and i will give you the details.
