What a beautiful location this has.Right on the sea front between Fethiye and Calis.Definately worth a trip here.A lovely mix of live music(English & Turkish).Very good menu ,mainly Italian with fantastic steaks. Then if you wish you can relax in the low seating area and enjoy the music and sunset.reasonable prices and good atmosphere.

hi June, yes.if you walk towards Fethiye it is by the new marina, though it will be quite a walk from Calis.(dolmus)it is next to the black statues of the heads.used to be called Yakamoz.i can reccomend the potabello steak which my husband tried.yum.

We went on Amanda's recommendation and were very glad we did. Sat on the water front admiring the lovely setting. The service was very good and the food was lovely (even although they brought chicken instead of lamb - must be the accent).

Only downside, and it's not Amanda's fault, was that they took the dolmus to the terminus in Fethiye and believe me it's a long walk from there, especially if you have short fat hairy legs. But enough about Mrs H. ;)

Im afraid I have to disagree. I was really looking forward to a meal here as many of my friends had recommended it but I was really disapointed. I had carbonara which was bland and rather greasy and my husbands mixed grill was that undercooked that im sure it still had a pulse! I also found the service to be poor and a bit slap dash. Maybe they were just having a bad day as everyone else has given it rave reviews.

Yes the service can be slap dash when they are busy. They wandered around several tables with our garlic pizza bread before reaching us so it was cold. Very tasty though when you get it hot.
I quite like it as it is on my doorstep and can be nice for a change from Turkish food, which I love. One time though I asked about the missing pine nuts on my pasta dish and I was brought a dish of sauce. Maybe the pine nuts were ground in the sauce.

We visited the Flamingo last week for a meal. Beautiful setting there is no doubt, quite reasonable prices. Starters were good, chicken with pepper sauce was luke warm and the chicken very bland and not seasoned but the pepper sauce was good, daughter had a pasta dish that she enjoyed and hubby had fish which he said was nice.
Hope they dont rely too much on the beautiful setting and let the standard of the food slip. Service was reasonable.

I know the restaurant was new this year as it changed ownership so obviously it will have a few teething problems with staff etc.when we visited it was fairly quiet both times and both the service and food were excellent.I'm sure it will be dealt with when they get things up and running properly.Definately the best place in Fethiye.

I have been several times recently and enjoyed various dishes. I love the garlic/cheese pizza bread starter, and also the pizzas themselves are good, nice thin crispy base and plenty of toppings.
I think the prices are reasonable and as we can walk to and from, its definately one of our favourite locals.

Went for lunch here today, such a perfect day for it. The food was lovely and no problem with service. A few 'extras' had been added to our bill when it came though so please check your bill carefully if you go here.

Had a lovely meal at Flamingo on Monday night.  Why Monday night, you ask.  Well it was Mr Rindaloo's 60th.  So 4 of us went there and had a lovely meal.  I am used to mainly going to pide places (grills, casseroles and pide on menu).  So it was lovely (for a change) to have such a selection.  I was in a dilemma as to what to order.  Anyway, long story short, I enjoyed the food.  And Mr Rindaloo was still commenting on how good his steak was the next day.  Will definitely go there again.  But will wrap up warm as it was a bit chilly round the ankles by the window.

If I was going to engage in THAT sort of activity I would have worn thick socks (for warmth) and a balaclava (for anonymity)....

That sounds like someone elses drinks added on so not done on purpose its quite possible they lost out on that deal.
When restaurants add the odd efes or g&t or the bread you didn't have thats ripping you off oh to be perfect like some. 8) ;)

Not everyone wants a Xmas lunch. It is much cheaper than most places are charging for a bit of dry Turkey. The food is excellent there and at least you won't have to sit in the cold in England.!!! (Or cook yourselves). I am sure it will be as good as it normally is...

You we were intruduced to you when Shana worked for Zinny at the Rovers Return in Hisaronu. I go to the Colosseum fitness centre with my husband now and we often pop in to the Flamingo afterwards to have a meal (try not to ruin all our good work at the gym)!!!
