During Carnival week at the auction, we made a bid for a meal for 4 plus bottle of wine to be used any time during summer at the Chinese Breeze restaurant. Duly won, we went on Saturday to enjoy the said meal and hospitality. Unfortunately, the staff and restaurant owner didn't want to honour the "promise" they had made. The owner said he couldn't remember "promising" anything even though it had been signed!!!! As a point of principle we decided to leave and will not be using this restaurant at any time in the future!!!!!!! As we left the restaurant one of the waiters was very rude to one of our party and that is another reason this restaurant is now off our list!!!
We did contact the carnival committee and they will refund the money paid. However, it did spoil what we anticipated to be a very enjoyable evening!!! Their loss and "Casa Di mamma's" gain!
