We saw some photos of the Orient on here the other day showing it being cleared out. Does anybody know what is happening - is it just getting a make over or something else ?

All the "usual suspect" gossips are bursting with talk that it is closed, owner bankrupt and part of Calis history. From that you can deduce that it is a major refurb and will be back bigger and better than ever.

Good to see the orient doing well, but don't think when it is 2 storey's it will do much for the view from them balcony's at the side
