Have just spent 4 weeks in Calis at the Oykun Hotel. Would just to use the Forum to welcome back Mehmet Ipar from Spain.
Faruk (Tom), George, Ishak and the rest of the staff did a wonderful job in his absence but the Harem needs Mehmet in his familiar surroundings,

Next year the Harem will be celebrating its 20th year in Calis.

We had many relaxed, enjoyable meals in the Harem and did enjoy eating in Bella Mama's, Mozaic Bahce and the Fish Market also.
I am hoping to return in September to see the changes Mehmet is hoping to introduce to the Harem in the next few weeks. I'll be interested to hear any Forum Members' views on these alterations to a well-respected restaurant in Calis.

Thats good to know! Will look forward to seeing him at the end of August! 20th year in Calis eh? crikey that ages us then as we stayed at the Harem when it wasnt the Harem- lol! Next year will be our 23rd year- inshallah!

Hi Brian,
Hope you & Bernadette are well, it was great to see you both again.
It was good to see Mehmet back at the Harem just unfortunate that it was our last night, it is not the same without him!
Not sure if you have got it but Steve has sent you an email regarding the apartment we gave you the number for turns out it was the wrong one.

We have eaten twice at the harem and it's fantastic well done mehmet,we will be back

Ate twice here and still as good as ever! Was great to see Mehmet back at the helm as well as Farouk and Gurbus.

Glad to hear Mehmet is back. One of the places we like to eat at .
Will definately be paying a visit when we arrive next week
