Guitar bar (Gitarci)
« on: May 17, 2012, 07:34:43 AM »
Spent several nights in here away tucked in away from the main bars. Turkish themed bar, where meze style food is available. Rustic seating around a central duck pond where there were several new chicks born while we were there, creates a lovely atmosphere. Turkish guitarist and singer play on a Thursday evening.
Access to the bar is through the alley across the road from Dawn beach bar where there's a sign for a tailor's shop and an artist's shop.
:D

Must look out for that,Toky, thanks for the heads up, sounds like it's down the alley where the Artist Shop is?
Tony, If you read Toky's post it's called Guitar bar (Gitarci).

See the lowest form of wit is not dead. Unusual name for a bar though, Guitarist. Obviously a lack of imigination/originality.

Where is the sarcasm? You asked what the name of the place was and Jacqui pointed out it was in the topic title already! No need to be rude because you missed that, surely...

Yes Jacqui, it's up just past the artist's shop. The guitarist is hoping to play more evnings as the season goes , but he is allegedly fulfilling other bookings he's committed to, so at the moment it's a Thursday for sure. Even without the live artist it's lovely, as they play fairly chilled out music through their outdoor speakers.
I'll upload some photos shortly

Thanks Toky looks nice, will give it a try when we are over.  Ducklings are lovely, takes me back to when we used to keep them and they used to be wandering around in a line behind Mum
Sorry we missed you this time, perhaps we will see you in September[?]

Ah Jacqui, the adult ducks jumped up to ground level and had a wander around the grass. You should have heard the ducklings "crying" after them as they couldn't get up. They were wandering about confused and upset. Poor wee things.
It's a cracking wee corner of Calis.
