The Starfish Restaurant, Yanıklar

The Starfish Restaurant at Karaot beach, Yanıklar is under new management with Recep Bostan (originally from Bostan Hotel).
Now officially up and running here are just a few details for you all.
The restaurant is located right on the beach, and is the ONLY restaurant on that beach, so if you want peace and privacy, this is the place for you. Sunbeds, umbrellas and private köşks are free to anyone eating or drinking with us. Food is mostly Turkish, ranging from a village breakfast, a lunchtime snack, through to a BBQ feast. We also have lovely gardens to relax in.

There is a free minibus service for 4 or more eating at the restaurant. The Majesty bus running every 10 minutes from Fethiye and Çalış also has a dropoff point on the beach on the opposite side of the river ( just need to nip over the bridge then along to the right 200 yards).

Forgot to say and have been asked a few times .... if anyone is wondering where on earth Yanıklar and Karaot beach are, they are off the main road that runs to Dalaman, about five minute drice from Koca Çalış where you cross the river and start to go up the hill. Anyone driving needs to pass the Majesty turning on the left, then almost immediately take the next turning on the right. The road U bends back under the bridge. Carry on down the windy road (where you come to a fork keep right) and the restaurant is at the end on the beach. It is the one with the chickens and ducks wandering around!

Which dolmus do you catch to get there or as close as possible

The buses that have the black frontage and signs saying Tuana and Botanik which are the 2 All Inclusive hotels on the beach front in Yaniklar.

Get off at the Tuana Hotel as the Dolmus turns left to go towards the Botanik.Walk down to the beach along the side of the Tuana.At the beach turn right and cross over the river and the Starfish is about a 5-8 min walk along the beach.
