Iam driving over in October and would like to know if it is alright to bring over house hold goods for my villa there are no t.v or high fi just tables and chairs and other stuff like that.

Do you have residency?  You can't import without it.  I shipped mine and there was all sorts of paperwork and a trip to Izmir involved - I'm sure someone will have driven over with stuff who can advise you.  Good Luck :-)
